Everything that goes with the window.

An add-on shutter is fitted with the window in the same opening, so from outside it reads as one piece with the frame. A face-fixed shutter is mounted on the facade or into an existing box. Aluminium slats filled with polyurethane add sound and thermal insulation — a lowered shutter cuts summer heat gain sharply, and in winter it reduces losses through the glass. The motor runs from a switch or a remote, and existing manual shutters can often be motorised later. The colour of the slats and guides follows the window decor.

A fixed screen is the simplest: an aluminium frame with mesh that clips onto the window and comes off for winter. A roller screen winds into a discreet cassette above the opening, so you use it only when you need it — a good choice for balcony doors. A pleated screen folds to the side like a concertina and covers even the largest openings and sliding systems, without a threshold to trip on. The mesh resists UV and tearing, comes off, and washes with water. The frame is powder-coated in the colour of the windows.

An internal PVC board is warm to the touch, does not yellow, and is easy to look after — the usual choice with white windows. Marble and granite suit formal rooms: they resist scratches, moisture, and the marks left by plant pots. The external board is aluminium, powder-coated in the colour of the profile, with a drip edge that carries rain away from the wall. Every board is cut to the exact opening and fitted on the same day as the window.

The external sill is the facade’s first line of defence. Without it, rain from the window runs down the wall and within a few seasons leaves grey marks under every opening. Our sills are powder-coated aluminium — they do not corrode and they do not fade — with a front nose that throws water clear of the facade and end caps that stop it running in at the sides. They are made in standard and special widths, in a colour that follows the windows or the facade.

Solomatik (an external venetian blind) stops the sun before it reaches the glass, which is why in summer it is several degrees more effective than any internal curtain or roller blind. The slats tilt to any angle, so the room gets daylight without direct glare and overheating, and the view outside remains. Control is manual or motorised, with optional sun and wind automation. The construction is aluminium, weather-resistant, in a RAL colour.
